Daniel Russell

Pasadena, Rose City Church

Briefly describe your testimony of coming to Christ…

I was raised in the church all my life, having been baptized as an infant. My family and church community held to their covenant to raise me in the faith and God has called me to live faithfully to continue to participate in the Kingdom.

Briefly describe your understanding of God’s calling on your life…

I have been called to participate in calling the church to serve the most marginalized for the sake of God’s justice, in particular racial justice initiatives and consistent ethical care for our communities.

How did you come to the Free Methodist Church?

As an alumni of Azusa Pacific University for undergrad, I came into contact with the CTL program in the summer of 2013-just before my Senior year. Then during my Senior year, I worked as an intern at Rose City Church in Pasadena as a part of my undergrad program in Christian Ministry. After a six month hiatus and graduating from APU, I returned to Pasadena to begin my Mdiv program and decided to attend Rose City. After 3 years, I decided to become a LMC.
