Briefly describe your testimony of coming to Christ…

From the time I was little Jesus has been my best friend. I cannot remember a time when Jesus was not there to talk to and find strength in. However, the early relationship I had with Christ was mostly one-sided. As I grew up, my friendship with Christ developed and matured. In my late twenties I rededicated my life to Christ, and was baptized not longer after. From that time, my relationship with Christ became life-encompassing and life-changing.

Briefly describe your understanding of God’s calling on your life…

God’s calling on my life has been a slow and steady process from the certainty of a general “calling” to a more directed call to mentor and disciple the next generation. Today, this means walking alongside the next generation, doing life together. I also feel called to continue my education. I believe that my passion for discipleship and education will eventually blend together. In addition to mentoring and education, I believe God is calling me to work for the empowerment of women in the Church and the world.

How did you come to the Free Methodist Church?

I came to the Free Methodist church through an invitation by my aunt to attend her church. After learning about the “Free” in Free Methodist, I realized this was the church for me.
